Record a cheque, settle the invoices
Recording a customer's cheque posts its receipt to post-dated cheques received and pays the invoices you pick, or the oldest open ones. A cheque you issue pays the vendor's bills through post-dated cheques issued, and goes through payment approvals when it is over the limit.
Received and issued cheques in one register
Bank, Cheques lists every cheque with its number, bank, date, amount, status and the invoices or bills it pays. Tiles show cheques past their date, due within 7 days, due in 8 to 30 days, due later and already at the bank, and a click filters the list. Export it to Excel whenever you need.
Deposit, clear, bounce or replace
Mark a cheque deposited, then clear it when the bank pays and the money moves to the bank account. If it bounces, the receipt is reversed and the invoices open again. Record the replacement cheque and it pays the same documents first.
